How it works

From biowaste to compost
School garden in 4 steps

undertake all phases of the cycle: collection of biowaste, composting with temperature and humidity measurement, ripening and application of compost in school beds. We share the results as open educational resources.

  1. Separation & Collection: clear rules in classrooms and the canteen.
  2. Composting: aeration, moisture, temperature – record keeping.
  3. Maturation & Measurements: data analysis, series comparison.
  4. Application & Sharing: compost in the garden, surplus for schools and the community.
