Erasmus+ in Galicia: a week of environmental learning, science and cultural exchange

From September 20th to 26th, our school hosted students and teachers from Serbia as part of the Erasmus+ programme. The week combined cultural, scientific and environmental activities with a shared goal: to learn, collaborate and help protect the planet.

On Sunday we visited the Aquarium Finisterrae, discovering the rich marine life of the Galician coast.

On Monday we held a school day, including a short Galician language workshop, a guided tour of the school, and activities on recycling and carbon footprint, using digital tools to analyse our impact.

On Tuesday the group travelled to A Coruña, visiting the MUNCYT, natural areas and key landmarks of the city.

On Thursday we worked in the school garden, planting traditional Galician species and enriching the soil with compost-based hydrogel.

On Friday we reviewed the week, shared final reflections and awarded participation certificates before our Serbian partners returned home.

It was a meaningful experience for everyone, strengthening our commitment to sustainability, science and international cooperation.
